Capstone Symposium

You are invited to the Class of 2025 Doctoral Symposium on Wednesday, December 4, 2025, from 4-6:30 PM in the Health United Building on Xavier’s Campus.  

The doctoral capstone is the culminating experience of our OTD Program—it is a student-driven project created in partnership with community organizations. Each doctoral capstone reflects a student’s unique passion within occupational therapy while addressing real-world needs, advancing practice, and fostering meaningful change. 

At the symposium, our students will each briefly present the highlights of their project goals, outcomes, and the impact of their work. You’ll hear inspiring stories, thoughtful reflections, and innovative ideas that demonstrate their dedication to both the profession of occupational therapy and the communities they serve. We invite you to join us in celebrating their achievements and envisioning the future of occupational therapy together.
