Kevin Semancik

Kevin Semancik is a Theatrical Sound Designer and Audio Engineer originally from Cincinnati, Ohio - currently living in New York City. He has been working professionally as a theatrical sound designer for the the past 8 years. What Kevin enjoys most about working in theatre is the telling of stories and the collaboration between artists to bring a story to life.
He holds a BFA in Theatrical Design from Northern Kentucky University and an MFA in Sound Design from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
Kevin is well versed in audio system design and optimization - having completed training courses from Meyer Sound and d&b. He enjoys artistically using advanced technology to help tell stories.
In addition to his design work, Kevin works regularly Off-Broadway as a Production Audio Engineer, Electrician, and Audio Visual Technician.
