Health Services Administration Alumni

GPHSA alumni have a national reputation for their leadership excellence in health services administration. Our graduates have been recognized with many honors. In fact, our program ranks second in the number of alumni who have who have been granted the prestigious American College of Healthcare Executives Young Administrator of the Year Award.

As an association of approximately 1600 graduates located throughout the United States and several foreign countries, the graduate program alumni form a large and influential network.

Once you have earned an MHSA from Xavier University, you automatically become a member of the Xavier University Graduate Program in Health Services Administration Alumni Association and a part of this invaluable network. Each year, the alumni association awards the Distinguished Alumni Service Award to recognize outstanding contributions by alumni of the program.

As a graduate of the MHSA program the Alumni Association offers you the opportunity to participate in:
  • Networking: The alumni are their own network at local, regional and national professional meetings such as the Congress of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
  • Social Events: Participation in the annual Alumni Reception/Dinner meeting and Awards ceremony held annually in Chicago during the spring, in coordination with the ACHE Congress.
  • Service: Opportunities to serve the Graduate Program and to interact with current and potential students in the areas of recruitment, residency placement, mentoring, and participation on the executive board of the program.
  • Job Opportunities: A list is available on the website
