Innovation Fellows Luncheon with Kyle Skye

Minneapolis-based entrepreneur, performer, producer, and founder of Bay Laurel Entertainment, Kyle Skye, will host a luncheon with Xavier students and faculty on Thursday, March 16 from 11:30-12:30 in the McDonald Library first floor garden area.

Mr. Skye will discuss the unique challenges, victories, and lessons learned as a business leader in the music industry.

RSVP ASAP to be one of the 25 attendees! 

Food and beverages will be provided by University Library and Xavier Music.

The luncheon is hosted by 2023 Innovation Fellows Ben Chamberlain, Azaria Lewis, and Jared Montgomery. 

 

March 2023 Library Resource of the Month

In support of Women’s History Month, the new Cultural Awareness: Women’s History LibGuide page is University Library’s Resource of the Month for March.

The Cultural Awareness: Women’s History LibGuide page is a resource that provides research databases, books, and websites to help inform students, faculty, and staff and to provide a launch point for research on the topics of Women’s History.

 

Open Education Resources

In support of Open Education Week (March 6-10), University Library highlights its Affordable Course Materials and Open Educational Resources (OER) LibGuide.

This guide is designed to assist faculty in the exploration, identification, evaluation, selection, and adoption of Affordable Course Materials and Open Educational Resources. Its features include Creating and Publishing, Creative Commons Licensing and Copyright, Professional Development and Education, Funding and Grants, and more.
