International Coffee Hour

International Coffee Hour is a 25+ year tradition at Xavier. Students, faculty, and staff gather on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Faces of the World Lounge (2nd floor of Gallagher Student Center) to build community, share cultures, and have fun over a cup of coffee and food.

International Education Week

The Center for International Education invites you to participate in International Education Week (IEW).  Each year, Xavier participates in IEW through different programs, presentations, and exhibitions.

The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs states:

“International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of International Education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.”

Our hope is to increase dialogue and awareness of different issues around the world to the Xavier community.  The Center for International Education will send out a call for events and programs in mid to late September.
