- First-Year Students
- Students starting a Bachelor's degree after completion of high school/secondary school.
- Graduate Students
- Students who have completed a Bachelor's degree who are starting a Master's or Doctorate program.
- Transfer Students
- Students who have earned some university credits at another school and wish to finish their degree at Xavier.
- Exchange Students
- Students studying for one year or one semester, coming from one of Xavier's exchange schools abroad.
An applicant for admission who does not meet every requirement for admission to Xavier University, but who otherwise has demonstrated an exceptional talent, may be accepted for admission at the sole discretion of the university's Chief Enrollment Officer. The Chief Enrollment Officer will ensure appropriate supports are provided to the admitted student(s) necessary to address the deficiency.
