Xavier cannot provide final dollar amounts related to federal or state aid until we receive your FAFSA results from the Department of Education. Your financial aid offer from Xavier University currently includes guaranteed institutional aid as well as a Financial Aid Simulator, which will allow you to manually estimate what your package could look like once any additional federal/state grants and loans you may be eligible for are applied.
Yes. If you do not file a FAFSA, you will not be eligible for federal or state aid and your official aid offer will include Xavier grants and scholarships only. If you do not plan to file the FAFSA, let us know so we can finalize your institutional aid package.
While we do not have a priority deadline this year, we recommend that you complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA by March 15 so that you can receive an official aid offer in time to make an informed decision regarding your commitment to attend Xavier.
The grants and scholarships from Xavier are guaranteed. This will be outlined in the Guaranteed Institutional Awards section of your offer. Official institutional awards can be distinguished by their verified checkmark.
Yes. Your official aid offer will be generated after Xavier receives your FAFSA results from the Department of Education and processes them. You will receive an additional email notifying you that your offer has been finalized at that time.
Federal Student Aid expects to begin sending FAFSA data to schools during the first half of March. Xavier will begin to prepare and release official financial aid offers in April.
