Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is an annual estimate of educational expenses you will incur while attending Xavier University. The estimate is made up of two types of costs: direct and indirect.

  • Direct costs* are items that will appear on your university bills, such as, tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and food.
  • Indirect costs will not appear on your bill but are estimated costs associated with going to college and should be included in your budget. These costs include items like transportation, personal expenses, and off-campus housing and food.
