DSLR PHOTOGRAPHY (Faculty, Staff, & Students)

: Friday, June 23rd, 1-2pm
Location: Digital Media Lab (located on the main floor of CLC)
This free DSLR photography workshop provides an introduction to manual photography, including manual settings (ISO, aperture, and shutter speed), lighting, and composition tips. Please have a DSLR camera with you during the class as we will try to be as hands-on as possible. DSLR cameras can be checked out for free from the Digital Media Lab. To reserve a DSLR camera with a 40mm lens (recommended for this class), visit the reservation page.

CANVA IN THE CLASSROOM (Faculty and Staff)
Date: Friday, June 9th from 1-2pm
Location: Zoom (a link to join will be sent a couple of days prior)
In this session, we will cover how Canva can be used for student projects as well as recommendations for obtaining the Pro version. Topics will include: using Canva (templates, uploading images, charts & infographics, etc.), requesting custom templates for alternative student projects, and accessibility.
