KEYSTONE COURSE (3 CREDITS)—INITIAL OFFERING SPRING 2026
- MDLN 301: Topics in Cultural Diplomacy A survey of foundational questions in the field of cultural diplomacy. Case studies provide opportunities to explore diverse perspectives on the relationship of culture, power, and state and civil actors across a range of times and places. Course readings and discussions promote critical reflection on the nature of culture, as well as ethical exchange and creative collaboration between state and community actors, all the while introducing students to key arenas of professional practice in the field of cultural diplomacy.
