Diversity Reception

TUESDAY, MARCH 16, 2021 • 5:00-7:30 PM • HANDSHAKE VIRTUAL EVENT

Network with undergraduate and graduate students interested in employers that embrace and support diversity, equity, inclusion and allyship in the workplace at the Virtual Diversity Reception on Tuesday, March 16, 5:00-7:30 PM facilitated via Handshake.

To ensure the health and safety of all participating students and organizations, the Diversity Reception will be a virtual event. Participants will have the opportunity to communicate via text and video with organization representatives allowing employers to share their anticipated hiring needs, diverse hiring initiatives, and opportunities for allies.

Because the Diversity Reception is being facilitated via the Handshake virtual career fair platform, many resources below will reference virtual career fairs. All resources are applicable to the virtual Diversity Reception networking event.

VIRTUAL EVENT LOGISTICS

Upon registration approval, you will receive a notification from Handshake indicating that you’re able to schedule group and 1:1 student meetings for the event. The following resources will be helpful as you create your schedule and prepare for the virtual event:
