Rosalyn Collins
Assistant Director for Vocational Discernment
Rosalyn Collins is the Assistant Director for Vocational Discernment within the Career Development Office at Xavier University.
In this role, I develop holistic, personalized programs that empower students to explore the intersection of passion, purpose, and career. I am particularly proud to oversee the Musketeer Career Accelerator, an initiative that blends Ignatian retreat-based reflection with practical skill-building to help students achieve self-awareness and career clarity. Xavier’s Ignatian mission is the heartbeat of my work, and I am honored to have been recognized as an Ignatian Educator of Distinction. In addition to my role, I serve as a career coach for Exploratory and Liberal Arts majors. I am fueled by a passion for helping students bridge the gap between their current path and their personal goals.
I earned my M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University and my B.S. in Organizational Communication from Ohio University. My professional expertise spans higher education, health care, human resources, leadership development, and social justice education. Outside of the office, I am a proud Cincinnatian who loves being a "tourist" in my own city and staying active in the local community.
