This event allows the first year students and their families to inform themselves on the structure of their sophomore year of PPP. Which is arguably the most intense year for the program. There will be a brief social hour with coffee, bagels, etc., and our director will give a short welcome speech. The second segment will include an alumni panel as well as an upperclassmen panel. These are usually very well-recieved as they give direct insight to students and parents as to what can be expected during the sophomore year. Finally, we will ask 3 different faculty members to give mock lectures on their respective fields of study. All in all, this event is extremely successful in fostering relationship between faculty, staff, students, and parents, as well as a great way to ease the freshmen into the program.
