J. William Beauchamp
Adjunct Professor, Business Law and Ethics
Professor Will Beauchamp is a Staff Attorney for Deputy Chief Judge Chris McNeill of the Kentucky Court of Appeals. Prior to his current role, Will clerked for Kentucky Supreme Court Justices Michelle Keller and Bill Cunningham (retired). Will also practiced civil litigation.
Additionally, Will serves as an adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University, Xavier University, and Cincinnati State College. In addition to BLS, Will teaches courses on Business Law and Ethics to both undergraduate and MBA students.
Will received his JD from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase School of Law where he was a judicial intern for Judge William O. Bertelsman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Following law school, Will completed a Master of Business Administration degree at Murray State University.
Prior to his legal career, Will graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky where he majored in business administration with a finance concentration and minored in religious studies. He is a former member of the Transylvania University Board of Regents.
Will served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps and completed on combat tour of duty in Iraq.
