Driving Directions and Arrival Times

Arrival Times & MOVE-IN PROCEDURES

Each student is assigned a 30-minute window. This window is solely designed to give you a time frame to arrive, then move-crew to empty your vehicle within. Once your vehicle is unloaded and parked, you are then free to come and go from your residence hall room as you wish to continue settling in. Upon arriving you can anticipate the following:

  • A staff member will check that you are arriving on the day and time that you registered for on your Housing Self-Service
    • If you arrive outside of that window, you may be asked to come back later or the following day depending on the scenario
  • Is everything in your vehicle labeled with your name, residence hall, and room number?
  • Do you have your OnePass downloaded and ready to go?
  • You will then proceed forward to move-in to your new home!

Please note, while we will do our best to make sure your wait is as short as possible, the move-in lines may take as long as an hour, so we suggest that you have a full tank of gas and bring a snack or water with you in the car! You may also want to stop at a rest stop before arriving to campus.
