Sophie Roepke

Associate Director, Leadership & Transition

Sophie is a proud Xavier alum, Class of 2016, originally from Northern Ireland but grew up in Zionsville, IN. While at Xavier, Sophie majored in Psychology and Spanish with a minor in Peace & Justice. As an undergraduate student, Sophie was very involved in the office she now works in! Sophie led Manresa and served as an orientation coordinator, as well as played a major role in facilitating leadership programs. Additionally, she participated and led many Alternative Breaks trips with the Center for Faith & Justice.

Sophie completed her Masters in Higher Education at Indiana University in 2019, then began her career at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL running their orientation program. Eventually, she returned to Cincinnati to work at Mount St. Joseph University as the Asst. Dean for Student Engagement. In 2022, Sophie returned to Xavier and joined the Office of Student Involvement to spearhead the Manresa New Student Orientation Program. Since then, Sophie continues to serve first-year students through orientation and the rest of the undergraduate student body through leadership programming and beyond.

Sophie lives in Cincinnati with her husband Mark, son Miles, and dog Millie.
