Citizens Police Academy

The Xavier University Police Department is pleased to announce the return of the Citizens Police Academy, beginning January 7, 2026, and running through April 15, 2026.

This 14-week interactive program is designed to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the Xavier community by providing participants with a behind-the-scenes look at modern policing. Through classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and off-site tours, participants will gain insight into the daily operations, responsibilities, and challenges faced by law enforcement professionals.

The academy concludes with a graduation ceremony and interactive MILO simulator experience. Dinner will be provided.
