Accreditation is a voluntary, non-governmental process that includes a high-end review of a school's ability to provide the highest-quality programs. During the review, the accreditation process looks at various areas, including the school's mission, faculty qualifications, curriculum, peer reviews and committee evaluations. Accreditation ensures that students are learning the most relevant material to their field of study while preparing them to be leaders in the business world.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation is the largest and most widely recognized business accreditation worldwide. To earn the AACSB stamp of approval, schools must undergo a rigorous process that can take three to five years. Once a school has earned the AACSB accreditation, it is reviewed every five years by a team of peer schools that are also AASCB accredited. The five-year process ensures that business schools continue to provide relevant courses and challenge students to develop the skills required to be successful in business.
