DJ Steffensen
Assistant Professor, Management & Entrepreneurship
DJ Steffensen is an assistant professor of management in the Williams College of Business at Xavier University. DJ received his PhD from Florida State University, where he studied organizational behavior and human resource management.
DJ’s research focuses on the overlap between leadership and HR management, specifically on the roles that leaders play in the development, implementation, and evaluation of HR practices and strategy. He has published articles in several outlets, including Journal of Management, Journal of Business and Psychology, Harvard Business Review, Group Dynamics, and Human Resource Management Review. He teaches courses in organizational management, leadership, and HR management.
In his spare time, DJ can be found spending time with his wife and three kids. They enjoy hiking, exploring creeks, and watching movies together.
