About IDT

Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) partners with faculty and instructors to design meaningful, student-centered learning experiences grounded in research and Ignatian pedagogical principles. IDT supports the alignment of learning outcomes, assessments, and instructional strategies across modalities, helping create engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning environments enhanced by the intentional use of technology.

IDT Services for Faculty Include:

  • Training in designing and teaching online courses
  • Instructional technology workshops
  • Support in the design and development of courses in all modalities, particularly online
  • Support in incorporating educational technology into courses
  • Individual technology support for using Canvas and other educational technologies
