Health Administration Minor

The Minor in Health Administration provides students with a strong foundation in the business and non-clinical aspects of healthcare. Designed for students interested in applying their major course work in healthcare, this program enhances their ability to understand healthcare operations, public and population health. Graduates with this minor will be well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to healthcare organizations, improving efficiency, access, and quality of care.

Curriculum (15 Credit Hours)

Required Courses (6 credit hours)

  • HESA 101 - Intro To US Health Care
  • HESA 110 - Medical Terminology OR HESA 120 Health Care Management

Health Services Administration Courses (9 hours of the following)

9 credit hours of HESA courses at the 200 level or above with the exceptions of HESA 370, HESA 371, and HESA 372.
