GSC Reservations and Event Services
The Gallagher Student Center has a variety of meeting and event space available by request for campus offices, recognized student organizations and external groups. Space is reserved on a first come first serve basis. As members of the Xavier community, recognized student clubs and organizations, faculty/staff/administrators are not charged a room rental fee. Reservations can be made by through Mazevo our online web reservation system, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, contacting the Gallagher Student Center Manager at 513-745-3201, or by visiting the GSC Welcome Desk. Students, Faculty, and Staff are able to log into the system using their Xavier Credentials. Once logged in, reservation requests can be submitted. This can also be done through the Mazevo Mobile App.
Due to COVID-19 and our goal of prioritizing our available spaces for student, staff, and faculty events, we are not booking external groups at this time. An external group is when the organizer is not a current Xavier University student or employee, or when the majority of those in attendance of the event are not current Xavier University students or employees. These rules are subject to change and the final approval is given by the GSC Director.
Gallagher's Event Spaces
The Arrupe Overlook
The addition of the Arrupe Overlook has provided the Gallagher Student Center and Xavier University with a premier student driven space, allowing students to gather and engage in programs and events while building campus community.
Serving as Gallagher's premier event space, the Arrupe Overlook can accommodate for events up to 175 attendees in a variety of set up types. The space can be reserved by student organizations, on campus departments, other members of the Xavier community, and groups external to the university.
The Clock Tower Lounge
Gallagher's next largest space accommodates for up to 80 guests and can be set up in a variety of ways. This space is commonly used for presentations, meetings, receptions, and dinners.
There are multiple conference rooms available in the facility, ranging in size and able to accommodate up to 35 guests.
Various common areas are reservable throughout the facility. These include the Lower Level Atrium, lounge spaces, and pre-function areas.
Event & Support Services
The Gallagher Student Center can accommodate many event set up styles and has various event related equipment available. Set up requests must be submitted in advanced. GSC staff work with event sponsors to help plan and execute their events. Contact the GSC for more information at email@example.com.
