Graduate Student Orientation
GRADUATE ORIENTATIONS
The Office of Graduate Student Success hosts orientations for newly registered graduate students at the beginning of each semester. Every semester start, we host a virtual orientation the week before classes begin. For fall semester, we add an in-person orientation the Saturday before classes begin. These orientations welcome new graduate students to Xavier, introduce key resources and support services, and share helpful tips for starting the semester strong. Some graduate programs host their own specific orientations and students are welcome to attend both. The university-wide orientations focus more on fostering connections between programs and outlining resources available to all graduate students.
Once you register for your selected term, you should expect an email from the Office of Graduate Student Success with details about orientation. Students are welcome to reach out to gradsuccess@xavier.edu with any questions.
