Welcome to the Economics Department at Xavier University!

We offer several undergraduate degrees through the Williams College of Business and the College of Arts and Science.

We take pride in forming personal relationships with students. In many cases, these relationships have continued well after the students graduate from Xavier. Our recent graduates include a Fulbright Scholar, a Truman Scholar, analysts and executives in the private sector (such as P&G, Morgan Stanley, 84.51, Kroger and SC Johnson), non-profit and government (such as the Federal Reserve) and faculty in liberal arts colleges. Some of our alumni have also pursued graduate degrees in economics, business and law in prestigious universities. Our students have won awards for their presentations in academic conferences and pursued research collaborations with our faculty.

Our faculty excel in teaching and publish regularly in highly regarded journals in their areas of specializations. Our teaching and mentoring are generously supported by our Board of Advisors, through research scholarships, internship opportunities, guest lectures and mentoring.

We have an active Economics Club and a chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society of Economics.
