The CDI offers a number of unique staff-led support and community groups for students. See the information below for descriptions, meeting dates and times, as well as contact information for the CDI staff lead.

For the Spring 2023 semester, Queeries will be held on the following Tuesdays from 6-7pm in the CDI (GSC 280), unless otherwise noted. This is a closed space for students that self-identify as LGBTQ+. If you have any questions please contact Maria Merrill

Barber Shop Talk

An event meant to engage the community to talk while also aiming to encourage people to listen to one another. Raising awareness from with the Men of Color community. A licensed barber will be here to provide line-ups for $10. If you have questions, please contact Sam Terry. Spring 2023 meetings will be held from 4-6pm in the CDI (GSC 280) on the following dates.

Removing the Mask

The CDI and Counseling Services are joining forces for Removing the Mask, a support group for students of color at the intersection of mental health and wellbeing. Removing the Mask will be held from bi-weekly on the following dates from 3-5pm in the CDI (GSC 280) on the following dates for Spring 2023. If you have questions, please contact Diamond Brown or Nailah Johnson.
