The American Founding and Constitution (AFAC) Program is pleased to announce the following schedule of events for the 2025-2026 school year.   

Fall 2025

Constitution Day Address, September 17, 2025, 7:30 pm
Kennedy Auditorium: Conaton Learning Commons, Room 412
"Free Speech on Campus: The First Amendment isn't Enough."

All Students, Faculty, Staff and members of the public are welcome.  

Constitution Day Colloquium, September 17, 2025, 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm
A half-day program for students and vaculty to engage important Constitutional questions.  Dinner provided. 
Students who are interested in participating in the half-day colloquium as Constitution Scholars should contact Dr. Mack Mariani at marianim@xavier.edu.  

Liberty Conference, October 2, 2025
Students are invited to participate in a day-long conference on the Thursday of Fall break.  Additional details to follow.

George Washington Day Symposium, February 2025
Students, faculty, staff and members of the public are invited to join us for the 2026 George Washington Day Symposium.  The event will feature a guest speaker, a panel and dinner and table discussion.  More details to follow.
