Congratulations to Dr. Thomas Wagner for being the Superior Credit Union Innovative Educator of the Year runner-up!

Dr. Wagner received a cash prize and was featured at the Xavier men's basketball game on December 9, 2017.

The Superior Credit Union Innovative Educator of the Year rewards faculty who are creative, innovative, and effective in their teaching. Each year, students nominate faculty members for the award. Then, the top three finalists are invited to write essays describing their teaching. The final award winner is chosen by a Superior Credit Union committee.

Dr. Wagner's award is the second time in three years a Communication Department faculty member has been a finalist. Last year, Dr. Maxian was a finalist for the award as well.

The Communication Department couldn't be prouder of Dr. Wagner's award. Congratulations!
