Trnka Chairs Modern Language Association's Prize Committee

Jamie Trnka, Chair of Classics and Modern Languages, was asked to serve as Chair of one of the Modern Language Association's major academic prize committees: the Matei Calinescu Prize. This prize honors exceptional work in 20th and 21st century thought, and attracts applicants from a wide range of linguistic and cultural traditions, including comparative and interdisciplinary work.
