Student Earns Highly Competitive State Department Internship

Carson Rayhill, a Smith Scholar studying German and Economics, earned a highly competitive U.S. State Department Internship at the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See.

Jamie Trnka, professor and chair of Department of Classics and Modern Languages explained Carson was both the department's nominee for the Savage award and an active volunteer in Cincinnati. 

"We are very proud of Carson's accomplishment," she shared.

At present, the program still plans to proceed with internships.
