Student Essay Earns National Recognition

Allie Greenwell, a freshman studying Environmental Science and French, wrote an essay entitled "L'Impact de la technologie sur les transports modernes." Encouraged by Johann LeGuelte, assistant professor of French and Francophone studies, Allie submitted her paper to a national French essay contest. 

Her essay was ranked in the top 10 of the nation's best university essays in French by the American Journal of French Studies and will be published by the journal. See the rankings.
