Xavier receives award from American Chemical Society

The Xavier student chapter of the American Chemical Society received an Honorable Mention for its activities during the 2018-2019 school year. 

The American Chemical Society offers special commendation for Barbara Hopkins, associate professor of chemistry, and Adam Azman, teaching professor of chemistry. 2019 President of the American Chemical Society, Dr. Bonnie Charpentier, explained, "few faculty members are willing to make the great commitment of time and energy that a successful chapter requires. Hopkins and Azman's efforts certainly represent the best in undergraduate science education and mentoring around the country."
