McDonald Award Nomination Form

Any current or recent Xavier University student and any biology, chemistry or physics faculty member may nominate an eligible recipient.

Faculty eligible for nomination:

Tenured or tenure-track faculty members in the biology, chemistry or physics departments who are at least in their third year of full-time teaching at Xavier.
Faculty must not have won the award in the past five years.
Every second year, participating or part-time faculty members in the Biology, Chemistry, and Physics & Engineering departments may also be nominated. In 2025-2026, one participating or part-time faculty member will also be recognized with the award.
