POST YOUR JOBS & INTERNSHIPS ON HANDSHAKE

VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR LOGISTICS
Upon registration approval, you will receive a notification from Handshake indicating that you’re able to schedule group and 1:1 student meetings for the fair. You can schedule 30-minute group meetings with room for 50 students each. If you’d like to host larger group meetings during the fair, you’ll be able to enter an external video meeting link and host the meeting in the system of your choice.  The following resources will be helpful as you create your schedule and prepare for the career fair:


DAY-OF-EVENT SUPPORT
Members of the Employer Relations team will be hosting an Employer Support Zoom Room during the fair, making it easy to connect with us for quick Q&A, troubleshooting, and to learn how to further engage with Xavier students and alumni.  

TIPS TO FILL YOUR SCHEDULE
Prior to the fair and after setting your schedule, registered organizations are encouraged to message students, inviting them to connect with you at the Just-In-Time Career Fair.  Following are some helpful resources to personalize your outreach and stand out at the virtual fair:  


ON-CAMPUS AND VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS
On-campus interviews provide a great opportunity to meet a number of candidates in one day! We provide the space and work with you to manage the process. Contact employer@xavier.edu to schedule your dates. Alternatively, you can schedule virtual interviews via Handshake. Handshake allows employers to use their preferred video conferencing platform when conducting virtual interviews and provides a convenient scheduling platform allowing you to connect more in-depth with those you met at the career fair.  For more information on how to schedule interviews, please visit this Handshake article guiding employers on how to post an interview schedule to a school.


XAVIER STUDENT ATHLETES
Due to the travel schedules of some of our NCAA athletic programs, some student-athletes may not be able to attend the fair. As a result, a select number of these student-athletes may reach out to recruiters outside of the fair.


PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, & REFUNDS
Full refunds will be issued for any cancellation made before September 2, 2022 at 5:00 PM. After this time, your organization may cancel, however no refunds will be granted and your invoice must be paid in full to be approved for future career fair registrations per Xavier's Cancellation Policy.


INCLEMENT WEATHER
If Xavier University is closed the day of the career fair due to inclement weather, Career Development staff will assess the situation and make a decision by 8:00 AM on the day of the event.  Registrants and representatives will be notified via email and an announcement will appear on the front page of the Career Development website (www.xavier.edu/career) if the event is impacted by inclement weather.  Please ensure all representative names and email addresses are provided with your event registration to ensure all are informed should this occur.  Please review the full Inclement Weather Policy.
