Spring 2016 Managers 

Siti Syarizan Mohd Nizom

Chief Executive Officer

Siti is a senior Finance and International Business double major from Malaysia. Last summer, she interned with Felda Global Ventures in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with their Investor Relations Group. She is also a treasurer of Muslim Student Association and Peer Leader for Xavier’s Peer Leader Program. In her free time she enjoys watching movies and traveling.


Joseph Bonastia

Chief Operating Officer

Joe is a senior Finance and Accounting double major from St. Louis, Missouri. Last summer, he interned at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio in the investment Advisors Program. Also, he interned his freshmen and sophomore years at Legacy Pharmaceutical Packaging in St. Louis as a purchasing intern. At Xavier, he is also involved in club golf and enjoys spending time with friends, watching sports and listening to music.


Alberto Baco

Chief Investment Officer

Alberto is a senior Finance major from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Last summer, he interned with MC Credit Partners in New York City. Also, he currently interns in the Fifth Third Trading Center at Xavier. In his free time he enjoys sports, reading, going to the movies and going to the beach.


Dalton Imwalle

Chief Financial Officer/Co-Controller

Dalton is a senior Finance major and Economics minor from Columbus, OH. Last summer, he completed the Brueggeman Fellowship interning with NGO’s in Brazil teaching English and introductory finance courses to adults while examining the country’s economic inequality and sustainability. He also works as an intern on campus at the Fifth Third Trading Center and is the Treasurer of Alpha Sigma Nu. In his free time he enjoys movies, music, and sports.


 

Danielle Cunha

Chief Compliance Officer 

Danielle is a senior Finance major and International Business minor from Townsend, Massachusetts. Last summer, she was an equipment finance intern at The Huntington National Bank. She has also interned at Bemis Assiciates, Inc. as an HR intern and a Purchasing intern. In her free time, Danielle enjoys watching movies, listening to music and spending time with her friends and family.


Lashell Jordan

Chief Economist

LaShell is a Senior Finance and Management Major from Liberty Township, Ohio. Last summer, she interned at Macy’s as a Corporate Human Resources Intern in the compensation department. She also interned her sophomore year at Kroger in store management. At Xavier, she is involved with Xavier’s Women in Business, and is a Williams Scholar for the College of Business. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, designing clothes and listening to music.


Zitian Jiang

Healthcare Manager

Zitian Jiang is a 4th year Accounting and Finance double major from Beijing, China. He is planning on obtaining a certificate as a public accountant. He loves to explore the world in his free time; he has been on two summer study abroad trips in the United Kingdom and Germany and visited many different countries on different continents. Zitian has worked as a Finance intern at a nonprofit organization - American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition in Washington DC, where he provided close assistance to the director of finance where he was able to help the organization on daily operations regarding the financial accounting procedures.


 

Madeline Meiners

Director of Financial Literacy & Consumer Staples Manager

Madeline is a senior Finance major from Cincinnati, Ohio. Last summer, she interned with Fort Washington Investment Advisors in Cincinnati with their Private Equity and Performance and Reconciliation Operations team. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as playing golf.


Micahel Ryan

IT& Telecom Manager 

Michael is a senior Finance major from Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. In his free time, he enjoys running, biking and playing Spikeball. He is an avid promoter of Social Justice and after Graduation intends on pursuing a career in the Cincinnati area as a High School Principal.


Joe Beutel

Financials Manager

Joe is a senior, double majoring in Finance and Management. He is from Toledo, OH. Currently, he is an intern in the Trading Center and the Treasurer of the Xavier Young Americans for Liberty chapter. When not studying or working at Currito, he enjoys playing soccer and video games.


Jake Hudson

Consumer Discretionary Manager/Co-Controller

Jake Hudson is a Senior Finance major and History minor from Greenwood, IN.  This semester, he is the D'Artagnan Capital Fund Controller and Consumer Discretionary sector manager.  Jake is the current Capital Markets Intern for Fund Evaluation Group in Cincinnati, and served as the Fixed Income Intern for Fund Evaluation Group in the Fall of 2015.  After graduation, Jake hopes to work in the institutional consulting industry.


Gerardo Panameno

Industrials and Materials Manager 

Gerardo is a senior Finance and Accounting double major from San Salvador, El Salvador. Last summer, he interned with Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati with their Risk Management Group. Also, he is a Finance & Accounting tutor through the Learning Assistance Center here at Xavier and an intern in the Fifth Third Trading Center. After graduation he intends on pursuing a career in investment banking or wealth management. In his free time he enjoys sports, spending time with family and friends, as well as going on vacations.


Andy Kleschick 

Energy & Utilities Manager

Andrew is a senior Finance major from Indianapolis, IN. Last summer, he worked for a liquor store in Indianapolis where he primarily worked as a sales clerk. He is on the Peer Review Board at Xavier, works at Coffee Emporium, and enjoys getting involved with intramurals. In his free time he enjoys music, sports, and spending time with family, namely his dogs.

Brandon Bischof

Chief Executive Officer

Brandon is a Senior Finance Major and Economics Minor from Indianapolis, Indiana. For the past two summers, Brandon has interned with Canterbury Investment Management where he was responsible for evidence-based testing and presentation construction.  On campus, Brandon has been President of the Financial Management Association, involved in Club Golf, and is the current treasurer for Xavier's Club Sports program.  He enjoys basketball, table tennis, and comic books.  Brandon is set to graduate May 2017. 

 


 

 

Ashley Selers

Chief Operating Officer

Ashley is a Senior Finance Major and Economics Minor from Cleveland, Ohio. This past summer she interned with Phillips Edison & Company in Cincinnati as a Corporate Finance Intern. At Xavier, Ashley is a Williams College of Business Scholar and  an intern in the Fifth Third Trading Center. After graduation, she plans to become a financial analyst and pursue her MBA. In her free time, Ashley enjoys playing cards, darts, and sand volleyball in addition to spending time with friends and family.


 

 

Thomas Schultz

Chief Investment Officer & Industrials/Materials Manager

Thomas is a Senior Finance Major from St. Louis, MO. This past summer he interned at NiSource, Inc. as a Finance Intern in the Treasury Department. At Xavier, Thomas is a Fifth Third Trading Room Intern, the Treasurer of Children’s Charity Club, a Peer Leader, and a member of Beta Alpha PSI. Thomas enjoys playing intramural basketball and softball

 

 

Emily Hogya

Chief Financial Officer & Healthcare Sector Analyst

Emily is a Senior Finance, Economics, and Accounting triple Major with an English Minor from Cincinnati, OHShe is a founding member and Vice Chair of the Williams College of Business Dean’s Student Advisory Board, as well as a brother in the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and a University Scholar. She also maintains memberships in the business honor societies Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma. Her internship at Fund Evaluation Group, LLC  has kindled her passion for portfolio management, and she hopes to pursue a career in asset management for family office, trust, and endowment clients. She also aims to earn her CFA and CAIA professional designations. She loves taking barre classes at her local Pure Barre studio, spending time with her family and friends, and running.

 

 

 

Michael Hanlein

Chief Compliance Officer & Energy/Utilities Manager

Michael is a Senior Finance Major and Economics Minor from Louisville, Kentucky. He interned this past summer at Alexander Investment Services, an independent broker-dealer and investment advisory firm,  where he passed the FINRA Series 7 exam to become a registered securities representative. He's currently studying for the Series 65 exam. Upon graduating from Xavier, he plans to work as a broker either part-time or full-time back in Louisville, depending on graduate school acceptance and options. After obtaining an MBA, he eventually wants to work as an investment adviser with a focus on retirement accounts. He’s also a member of Beta Alpha Psi at Xavier, and a student member of the Cincinnati Business Leader’s Alliance. In his free time, Michael referees at and competes in drug tested powerlifting meets, watches Xavier and Louisville basketball, and enjoys going to the zoo. 


 

 

Lauren Schott

Co-Chief Economist & IT/Telecom Manager

Lauren is a Senior Finance and Economics Major from Pittsburgh, PA. This past summer she interned with Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH as an Intern in their Risk Management Division. Having enjoyed her experience with the Bank, Lauren is extremely excited to have accepted a full time position in Fifth Third’s Risk Management Leadership Program following graduation in the spring. At Xavier, Lauren is President of the women’s club volleyball team on campus, a member of the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, and a Participant in the University Scholars Honors Program. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching Pittsburgh sports games as well as Xavier basketball.

 

 

Brendan Thompson

Co-Chief Economist & Consumer Staples Manager

Brendan is a senior Finance Major with a Minor in Economics.  This past summer, Brendan interned in Boston, MA at TD Bank as a member of the bank’s commercial real estate group.  He previously worked at The Travelers Companies, Inc. in Hartford, CT as a Finance and Operations Intern.  Outside of the classroom, Brendan is a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Fraternity, a Peer Leader, and is also heavily involved in intramural sports.  In his free time, Brendan enjoys spending time with friends and watching sports, specifically Xavier basketball.

 

 

Harrison Hensley

Co-Director of Financial Literacy & Healthcare Manager

Harrison is a Senior Finance Major from Indianapolis, Indiana. He is currently the portfolio analytics intern at Vantiv. He has also worked at Eli Lilly. Outside of the classroom, Harrison is the president of Don't Tell Anna, Xavier's comedy improv troupe. He is also an active member of Delta Sigma Pi.


 

 

William Pearl

Co-Director of Financial Literacy & Consumer Discretionary Manager

William is a Senior Finance Major from Verona, NJ. At Xavier William participates in the  peer mentorship program for the William's College of Business, is a member of the Financial Managers Association, and Habitat for Humanity. In the past, he has worked with Community Matters, a small business dedicated to providing resources to the less fortunate. He enjoys doing volunteer work in the Cincinnati area. Outside of the classroom William has a passion for sports and fitness. He is currently an ambassador for a growing fitness company.  


 

 

Tung Nguyen

Controller & Financials/Real Estate Manager

Tung is a Senior Finance and Economics Major from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This past summer he interned with Beech Acres Parenting Center in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Financial Analyst Intern. On campus, he is a student assistant in the Learning Assistance Center at Xavier. After graduation, Tung intends on pursuing a career in investment management. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
