Registration Road Map

Course Registration

When it comes to course registration, it is crucial that you use your View Degree Evaluation & Tools (DegreeWorks) as a roadmap. The purpose of Degree Works is to show you what courses are needed for your degree program and how close you are to graduation. To use Degree Works, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit Current Students
  2. Click on Self-Service (Chain Picture)
  3. Under the Student tab, select Academic Records/Registrar Information
  4. Click View Degree Evaluation & Tools (DegreeWorks)

Next, I recommend that you open a separate internet tab to start the registration process. In this tab you will again visit the Student Hub and select Self Service. Under the Student tab above please select “Registration.” Once you select “Registration,” the next page will give you various options. Select the first option “Register for Classes” to begin the registration process.

The Registrar’s office also created a helpful tips list for students wishing to register for classes. Visit The Registrar here.

Department Advisor

Your Department Advisor is someone within your degree program that can assist you with course planning and registration. Whether you register for your classes on your own or not, I always recommend that you review your schedule with your Department Advisor. Please use this link to find your advisor, and find your Department Advisor within your program.  It is important to establish an early relationship with them as soon as possible.

Here is another helpful way to find your Department Advisor:

  1. Visit Current Students
  2. Click on Self-Service (Chain Picture)
  3. Under the Student tab, select Academic Records/Registrar Information
  4. Click on View Student/Advisor Information

Holds

If you have a hold on your account, please connect with the appropriate office (i.e., If you have a Bursar hold, call the Bursars Office).
