2016

Olivia Capannari

Olivia Capannari graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability: Economics and Management and a minor in Environmental Studies. Olivia has been involved at Xavier as a Student Government Association Senator, President of Pastries for Power Up Club, and a Manresa Staff Member. She has had several internships including Sirrus Chemistry (a start up in Loveland), Tesla Motors, and TiER1 Performance Solutions.

Olivia has accepted an offer for a full-time position at Eco-Engineering. She is currently working as a Leadership Development Associate. She will be doing a rotation before she decides which area is best for her: project management, client relations, sales/marketing, or engineering.

Emily Mulligan

Emily Mulligan graduated in May of 2016 with a Sustainability: Economics and Management degree. During her time at Xavier she has done 4 alternative breaks and studied abroad in Peru. Her very first Alternative Break was in Miami, FL where she assisted the National Parks of Southern Florida on beach clean up, habitat restoration, invasive species removal, and care of endangered species. Emily's experience during this Break actually lead her to change her major from psych to SUST. Emily hopes to eventually go to law school and work for the federal EPA. She has been accepted into Indiana University's MPA program and begins her coursework January, 2017. Best of luck to her in her future plans!

Joseph McGrath

Joseph McGrath has received a BSBA in Sustainability. While at Xavier, he studied economics in Ireland and held internships at the Flying Pig Marathon and the Civic Garden Center. He has finished his management rotation at Macy's Tri-County and has been promoted to Store Executive at the Fountain Place store downtown. He is in regular contact with top sustainability professionals at Macy's.
