Summer 2027 Is Coming to Xavier!
Get ready for an exciting summer at Xavier University! Our 2027 Summer Programs are taking shape, with favorite programs returning and exciting new experiences launching for students of all ages. Designed for high school students, future Musketeers, and children alike, Xavier’s summer programs offer opportunities to learn, explore, connect, and experience campus life in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Whether you’re looking for a multi-week, for-credit residential experience, a hands-on day camp, a pre-college opportunity, or something completely new, there’s a place for you at Xavier this summer. Our world-class faculty, dedicated staff, and talented students are ready to create unforgettable experiences that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students for what comes next.

Scholarships Available
We’re excited to offer Summer Program scholarships for our 2027 season. Scholarship applications are now open through the link below.
In addition, all rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school who attend a Xavier Summer Program are eligible to receive an Institutional Engagement Award valued between $500 and $1,000 when they officially become a Musketeer.
Scholarship awards are not guaranteed. Award amounts may vary based on available funding, individual circumstances, and demonstrated financial need.

D'Artagnan's Summer Business Academy
The D’Artagnan Summer Business Academy is a 1- or 2-week pre-college program for rising high school juniors and seniors interested in business. Students explore business majors and career paths, participate in company visits, events, and networking opportunities, and live on campus to experience college life. Students in the 1-week program participate in career development and college readiness activities, and students in the 2-week program take a Xavier college course and earn college credit. By balancing academic and professional development with engaging social activities, the Academy helps students explore college and career opportunities.

Summer in Cincy: Pre-College Program for High School Students
Summer in Cincy: Pre-College Program for High School Students offers rising high schoolers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience life as a Xavier Musketeer. For one week, participants will live in the residence halls, dine in the campus dining commons, and explore Cincinnati through field trips to local landmarks and a professional sporting event. Each day includes dynamic mini-courses led by Xavier faculty, skills development to ace college applications, and small group discussions time giving students a taste of academic and student life while building new skills and connections. Blending college immersion with city adventure, this program is the perfect way to discover Xavier University and envision your future as a Musketeer and Cincinnatian.CSI Forensics Camp
This weeklong summer camp immerses high school students (grades 10–12) in the exciting world of forensic science and law enforcement. Led by a retired 27-year law enforcement veteran and current Xavier professor, participants will investigate a mock crime scene using professional forensic kits, lab equipment, and hands-on activities that bring real-world concepts to life. With interactive labs, engaging discussions, and teamwork-based challenges, students will gain unique insight into investigative techniques while sharpening critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Designed for future leaders and curious minds, the program offers an unforgettable blend of learning, discovery, and college campus experience.
High School Placement Test Prep
This premium prep class not only helps students prepare for the HSPT but also provides young Catholic students in Cincinnati the opportunity to experience Xavier’s beautiful campus. The course will be led by veteran educator Meghan Kemphaus, who brings 24 years of teaching experience in Cincinnati (19 in Catholic education). This marks her 17th year helping students prepare for the HSPT. Students will review all five sections of the test, learn effective testing strategies, build confidence, and practice timed sections in an authentic, school-like setting.
Strong eXplorer Career Camp
Summer Strings Camp
This summer, Xavier University launches its inaugural Summer Strings Camp, an exciting opportunity for students in grades 4-12 to connect and make music together on violin, viola, cello, and double bass. The program offers 3 distinct orchestra levels to ensure that every student is placed in a learning environment that supports their individual growth. Camp runs from June 1-5 and will conclude with a combined orchestra performance for family and friends!Sports Camps
Each camp in Xavier’s Sports Camps is led by experienced NCAA Division 1 coaches and instructors who are passionate about developing young athletes and teaching the fundamentals of their sport. Whether your child loves basketball, soccer, lacrosse, or volleyball, they’ll build skills, confidence, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment. Designed for kids of all ages and ability levels, these camps offer personalized instruction, exciting drills, and plenty of gameplay. Beyond improving athletic ability, campers will form new friendships and create lasting memories on and off the court or field.
