Airport Shuttle

Traveling home has never been easier! The Xavier University Airport Shuttle service is provided by the Student Government Association in response to students' needs for an affordable and convenient ride to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG).

For questions about the shuttle service, contact the Office of Student Involvement at 513-745-3004 during normal business hours (M-F 9am-5pm) or email shuttle@xavier.edu.

Xavier Airport Shuttle

The Xavier University Airport Shuttle provides transportation from Xavier's campus to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) at the start of each break and then back to campus at the end of each break.

*Please note that the airport shuttle service is complementary, the Student Government Association and Xavier University are not responsible for making arrangements if the riders flight is delayed or cancelled or if the shuttle is delayed. If any of these situations occur we recommend that the rider contacts Uber or Lyft as another method of transportation. 

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE! THE SHUTTLE FOR 2024-2025 HAS A 10 PERSON LIMIT FOR EACH TRIP, IF YOU DO NO REGISTER YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RIDE THE SHUTTLE.

 

IMPORTANT 2024-2025 SHUTTLE UPDATES:

  • Shuttle Registration has been moved to EngageXU for 2024-2025 - only Xavier Students can register with their EngageXU login. 
  • Please click the links below for each break to register - registration for departures and arrivals will be separate 
  • When registering please select only one ticket - when a specific date and time are full EngageXU will close that slot. See FAQ section below for more registration details.

PLEASE NOTE SHUTTLES ONLY RUN DURING FALL, THANKSGIVING, WINTER, SPRING, AND EASTER BREAKS.

 

(Departing from Xavier, the shuttle will arrive at CVG approximately 45 minutes after the hour. Returning to Xavier, the shuttle will arrive at Xavier approximately 50 minutes after the hour.)

*Pick-up location at Xavier: the shuttle driver will meet students at Bellarmine Circle.  The shuttle is a 10 person Executive Transportation passenger van. 

*Pick-up location at CVG: the shuttle driver will meet students at the desk in baggage claim across from carousel 4. If driver is not at carousel please check outside for an Executive Transportation 10 person passenger van.

Students planning to ride the Airport Shuttle to CVG are required to register their flight information at least 1 week before departureThe 2024-2025 airport shuttle has a 10 person limit for each trip, if you do not register you will not be able to ride the shuttle.


FAQs

How do I register through EngageXU?
You will need to click on the links above for either arrival or departure.  Once you do that you will be directed to EngageXU to either the departure or arrival shuttle. Find the time and date you will need and select 1 ticket. Engage will take you to "Your Order Page" please make sure your contact information is correct, then click on confirm my registration. Once you do that you will receive a confirmation email from EngageXU. EngageXU will also send a reminder email 2 days before you are scheduled to take the shuttle.

What if the shuttle isn't at the stop? 
It is possible the shuttle was delayed in traffic. Unfortunately staff members are not available during the hours of shuttle operation. You may need to take another form of transportation, such as calling Uber or Lyft. Make sure to send a message to shuttle@xavier.edu if you have any problems.

What if my flight is canceled or delayed, will the shuttle wait for me?
The Student Government Association and Xavier University are not responsible for making arrangements outside of the advertised shuttle times when flights are canceled or delayed. If the shuttle should be delayed for any reason or if the shuttle is full, it is the responsibility of the rider to make other travel arrangements.

Where do I meet the shuttle at CVG to come back to Xavier? 
The shuttle driver will pick up students at the desk in baggage claim across from carousel 4.  If the driver is not at the baggage claim, please check outside and look for an Executive Transportation 10 person passenger van.
