PSYC LIBERATION PSYCHOLOGY 3 Abbie Fields (UCA) Analyses the socio psychological theories based on Latin American reality and Paulo Freire´s theories. As third world countries generate different problems from the ones encountered in European countries or the U.S., the treatments to solve the problems are totally different. Liberation Psychology focuses on the urgent need to fix segregation of relationships, experiences, theories and environment generated by oppression, and offers three key elements to build a more balanced society: awareness, empowerment, and active participation. MUSC 107 NICARAGUAN FOLK DANCE AND LATIN RHYTHYMS 1 Managua Instructor Presents Nicaraguan traditional folk dance as well as dances for social occasions. Students receive instruction in the social customs and dress of different regions and social classes of Nicaragua represented in the traditional folk dances. Students will also receive instruction on popular Latin dance rhythms as danced in Nicaragua such as bachata, merengue and salsa. Students will give a dance recital
