Jo Fortner
Academic Program Operations Manager, School of Psychology
Johannah “Jo” Oldiges Fortner earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Kentucky, with minors in Spanish and Gender & Women’s Studies, and her Master’s in Library & Information Science from Valdosta State University. She joined the School of Psychology in 2026 as the Academic Program Operations Manager.
A native of the Cincinnati area, Jo spent over a decade living near Savannah, Georgia, but is delighted to be back home. Prior to her work at Xavier, Jo spent 15 years in higher education and public libraries, in student support, information services, and management roles, where the common thread was serving in mission-driven educational settings. In her spare time she enjoys supporting her children’s various activities; curling up with her cats; and spending quality time with family and friends.- 513-745-1053
