Todd Musgrove

Officer, Xavier University Police Department

Officer Todd Musgrove came to Xavier University Police Department in January 2024. Officer Musgrove has been in law enforcement since 1985 and is currently assigned to 3rd shift.

Officer Musgrove started his law enforcement career with the Hamilton County Workhouse as a Correction Officer. From there, Officer Musgrove transferred to the Hamilton County Justice Center until 1990 when he was promoted to Court Services. In Court Services, Office Musgrove worked as Court Security Deputy, Process Server, Probate Deputy, Special Warrants, and Fugitive Warrants. While working in Fugitive Warrants, Officer Musgrove was assigned to the United States Marshal Service Task Force (SOFAST) as a fugitive investigator and assisted with the apprehension of violent felons in and outside of the Greater Cincinnati Area. Officer Musgrove retired from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office as a Sergeant with 33 years of service.

Officer Musgrove worked at UC Health, West Chester campus, as a police officer. At UC Health Officer Musgrove received CPI Training for Healthcare Workers and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). Officer Musgrove was an instructor for CPI. After serving 5 years with UC Health, Officer Musgrove left as a Sergeant to explore another type of law enforcement landing at Xavier University Police Department bringing 39 years of service.
