Program Details

The Department of Occupational Therapy currently offers an entry-level Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree. Because Xavier University is transitioning to an entry-level doctoral program, the last cohort of MOT students began in spring 2021 with graduation anticpated in December 2022. The transition to the OTD program, which has been granted Pre-Accreditation Status, began in fall 2020.

Students in the Master of Occupational Therapy program become competent, caring occupational therapists who use occupation or meaningful activity to address physical, emotional or educational needs. Students graduate with an entry-level Master of Occupational Therapy degree, ready to make a difference in the lives of others.
