Xavier MBA programs earn high marks, rise in 2025 U.S. News rankings

Xavier University’s part-time MBA program ranked fifth in Ohio and climbed several spots nationally in U.S. News and World Report’s 2025 Best Graduate School Rankings.
Released on Tuesday, the list ranked the Williams College of Business’s part-time MBA 101st nationally, rising 24 spots from last year’s ranking.
Several of Xavier’s MBA specialties also earned high marks from U.S. News, including:
- No. 16 for Marketing (not ranked last year)
- No. 19 for Business Analytics (No. 38 last year)
- No. 21 for Entrepreneurship (No. 21 last year)
- No. 21 for Finance (not ranked last year)
- No. 24 for Executive MBA (No. 27 last year)
Xavier outranked all other Ohio universities in the Business Analytics, Finance and Marketing specialty categories, and was the only Ohio institution ranked in the categories of Entrepreneurship and Executive MBA.

Xavier’s strong performance builds on the University’s high placement in U.S. News’ Best Online Program Rankings released in February, which ranked Xavier’s Online MBA as the top program of its kind in Ohio and No. 51 nationally. The University also ranked as having Ohio’s best Online MBA program for veterans, climbing to No. 29 nationally in that category.
Overall, Xavier is nationally recognized for its academic excellence. The 2024 U.S. News Best Colleges Rankings placed Xavier No. 39 in the country for undergraduate teaching. The year before, Xavier debuted as a national university on the Best Colleges list following decades of steady expansion.
