Our Philosophy

Hello Muskie was built at Xavier, for Xavier, with a conviction drawn from Catholic social teaching: technology is never neutral. It carries the character of those who make it.

We know AI is met with both enthusiasm and hesitation. We find our path forward in Pope Leo XIV's Magnifica Humanitas, where he writes that the real choice is not between enthusiasm and fear, but between progress that serves people and progress that subjects them. Progress that serves people is why we built this.
