Mission Week
Mission Week is a new annual tradition celebrating Xavier’s Jesuit Catholic identity through a week of engaging events, reflections, and campus gatherings. This year’s theme, “United in Faith and Community,” aligns with Catholic Schools Week, highlighting the shared values that unite us across departments, disciplines, and backgrounds. Each day, there are opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate what makes Xavier’s mission so meaningful. Let’s come together to honor our heritage, deepen our commitment, and build a stronger Xavier community—united in faith.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 25
- Student Masses at Bellarmine Chapel | 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
MONDAY, JANUARY 26
- Art Exhibitions in McDonald Library and Gallagher Student Center | displayed throughout the week
-
Vidit Mirabilia Magna: A series of work by Molly Jachim, '26 in the McDonald Library Gallery | Jan. 26 - Feb. 27
Work statement: A key identity of being a Xavier Student is our Jesuit values and living out this message. This body of work is directly inspired by Vidit Mirabilia Magna, which translates to “He has seen great wonders”, seen on the University seal. God has created wondrous things, and I truly believe some of the most beautiful things can be found in churches. Without Xavier University, I would not have visited these wondrous places. - Student Art Show with St. Peter Faber Academy in the Gallagher Student Center, Third Floor Gallery

The Examen of St. Ignatius Loyola is a peaceful, reflective prayer with introspective prompts that looks to detect God's presence in our life and discern God's path forward for us.
