LeeAnn Maloney
Director, Education Abroad
LeeAnn Scherbauer is the Director for Education Abroad in the Center for International Education. A two-time alumna of Xavier University, LeeAnn studied International Studies and German for her Bachelor's and graduated with her MBA in 2017. After undergrad, she spent the following year working as an au pair in Ratzeburg, Germany, to immerse in the culture and gain a full grasp of the German language. LeeAnn is passionate about facilitating global opportunities and learning experiences for all students through the implementation and promotion of international programs. LeeAnn currently sits on the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) Board of Directors and is a member of NAFSA, Forum on Education Abroad, and Greater Cincinnati International Educators (GCIE). She is a Dayton native, but a Muskie through and through. In her free time, LeeAnn enjoys learning about languages, taking walks with her corgi, reading interesting books, exploring new cities, watching new Netflix series and attending concerts.
