Applicaton Deadlines and Program Start Dates 

Master of Business Administration

Xavier University’s MBA program uses rolling admissions, so there is no fixed application deadline and students may start in the fall, spring, or summer. 

Recommended submission dates are August 1 for fall entry and December 1 for spring entry. International applicants should apply by January 1.

Executive MBA

The Executive MBA program offers rolling admissions, with applications accepted until July 1 for the fall cohort. The program begins each fall semester in August.

Full/Part-Time MBA Admission

Xavier’s full-time MBA offers rolling admission with no formal deadline, though applicants are encouraged to apply by Aug. 1 for fall or Dec. 1 for spring to ensure timely processing and registration.

Executive MBA Admission

Xavier's EMBA program starts each fall. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until July 1 for the following fall semester. Scholarship applications are due June 1 for priority consideration.

No GMAT or GRE required to apply.

MBA programs at Xavier University no longer require the GMAT or GRE test scores of applicants.

Sample Courses and Curriculum

The total number of credit hours required to complete the MBA program varies from a minimum of 39 hours (all foundation skills waived with a nine-credit-hour concentration) to a maximum of 48 hours (all foundation skills and a 12-credit-hour concentration in Finance).

Experiential Learning Courses

BUAD 751

A 12-week course in which students apply an integrated approach of classwork from Strategy, Finance and Marketing to develop a strategic recommendation for a local small business ($1M - $10M in annual sales).

BUAD 752/754

A six-month capstone project with a different set of client companies, requiring a full-scale internal and external analysis. Students identify, select, plan and provide an implementation strategy to senior management.

As a part of the EMBA program, students embark on a 10-day international residency experience. The location changes each year and is influenced by the faculty's connections and students' interest and input. While many students in the program have traveled internationally, this residency remains one of the most memorable and influential parts of every student’s graduate experience.
