Dr. Chatterjee teaches in the Philosophy, Politics, and the Public (PPP) honors program, Economics, Sustainability, and Society (ECOS) program, and International Business program. Her research focuses on politics of globalization, sustainability, social entrepreneurship, bottom of the pyramid (BOP), and nationalism.
Her latest project "To be Foreign: The Case of African Students in India" (funded by Xavier University's Jesuit Fellowship) looks at the experiences of African students in India to understand how they navigate their "foreignness" under conditions of resurgent Hindutva nationalist sentiments.
