Earth Week is a campus-wide celebration dedicated to caring for our common home. Throughout the week, we highlight sustainability, community engagement, and environmental justice through events that inspire reflection, learning, and action.

- 4:30pm - Untangling Plastics lecture in the GSC in Arrupe Overlook with Bob Gedert
"Plastics are made from fossil fuels, and in every step in a piece of plastic's lifecycle, from creation to destruction, it negatively impacts Earth's climate. And yet, more and more plastics are being produced every day. We can no longer afford to ignore the connection between plastic and climate change."
Wednesday 4/22
- 12:00pm-4:00pm - Xavier Student Sustainability EcoFest on the Xavier Yard
- Join XSS on the Xavier Yard to celebrate Earth Day! Visit other club tables, enter raffles, and discover new local businesses.
- 3:00pm-4:30pm - International Coffee Hour at EcoFest
- Continuing a 25+ year tradition at Xavier. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome.
- 7:00pm - Care for Creation Mass at Bellarmine Chapel
