Rebecca Todd

Director of the Writing Center, Senior Teaching Professor, English Department

Rebecca Todd is a Senior Teaching Professor and the Director of the Writing Center. At Xavier since 1996, her teaching emphasis is in the core, offering first year writing (English Composition, Rhetoric), literature (Literature and the Moral Imagination, Studies in Fiction) and First Year Seminar courses. Originally from Kentucky, she received her BA and MA from the University of Louisville, and did doctoral work at the University of Cincinnati where she was nominated by students for a teaching award. She especially enjoys seeing Writing Center student staff develop professionally both on the job and through local and regional conference presentations.
